Certified Financial Planner™

My mission is to help Gen X and Millennial individuals create a personalized retirement plan and plan for their future so they can retire early and focus on what matters most to them.

I understand how difficult and emotional money management can be. I also understand the practicalities of creating and managing a solid financial foundation, so you can accomplish your financial goals and have the freedom to spend time with those you love.

A Little Bit About Me

My journey to becoming a financial planner was not a straightforward one. Initially, I enrolled in college with the intention of studying music education. However, my interests began to shift when my wife, who was taking a finance class taught by a CFP® professional at the University of Utah, introduced me to the world of financial planning. I was immediately drawn to the field due to my passion for budgeting and the prospect of finding a fulfilling career path.

The confidence and knowledge exhibited by the CFP® professional in my wife’s class inspired me. He took the time to speak with me after class, sharing how rewarding it was to help people foster healthier relationships with their finances. This interaction motivated me to change my major and pursue a bachelor’s degree in Financial Planning.

After graduating, I spent two years as a licensed Financial Services Rep before joining Synergy as a Financial Planner in 2018. Since then, I have obtained my Series 65, health/life insurance licenses, and my CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) designation.

Who I Help

My passion for financial planning and commitment to serving high-income individuals and couples has guided my career. I take pride in assisting diligent savers who are proactive about their future. My services cater to a diverse clientele, including tech professionals, medical practitioners, sales experts, architects, engineers, and more. I derive immense satisfaction from working with those who value professional advice and are keen on making informed decisions.

Regardless of your profession, if you’re a part of Generation X or a Millennial with a high income and a desire to plan for the future, I’m here to help navigate your financial journey.

What To Expect

When we begin our journey together, our first step will be getting to know each other. Understanding your current financial situation and your future goals is crucial for intentional financial planning.

I’ll assist you in setting up systems that make it easy and practical to implement your plan. Automation can help reduce anxiety, stress & confusion about finances so you can focus on what matters most to you. By being more intentional with your financial planning, you can be more intentional with your daily life.

My Personal Life

Outside of personal finance, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. As someone with ADHD, I have a variety of interests and passions. You might find me playing outside with my son or enjoying a game of pickleball or basketball with friends.
